New Rotation!!!

I am happy to announce that I have a new rotation!!!!! I will be working 2 days and 2 nights starting sometime in late April or May!!!!!! I am very excited to be starting this rotation!!!!!!

Days off!!

I am soooo glad to once again be on days off. I must say that somedays I love my job. Other days I hate my job and everything I do. I am glad to say that out of 24 hrs plus overtime of...hmmm I think 1.5hrs I only hated my job for 5.5hrs!!!
I think that is up from last week when it was 36 of the 48 hrs I worked. Who knows what the next 24 hrs on Monday and Tuesday will be.

What to do on my days off.... I am sad to announce that I have once again got the teenage boy sounding voice! I thought that I was just going to have the old man rumble voice... but the teen voice is back.... I might need to get that looked into sometime... maybe my next stretch off...
I was thinking that I needed to head into Moncton to pick up food stuffs and litter for the cats... Now if this was a normal day it would be no problem... BUT.... It is currently -20 and then -31 with the windchill. I have no wish to go and freeze body parts off.... ahh the problems I face.

Well perhaps I will go and get ready.. I don't think tommorow is going to be warmer....


I can't wait until I am on that plane headed for the west coast.. I am ordering up warm weather... and that means anything above 0... I am sorry to say.

It is booked!!!!!!!!!!!

I am happy to say that I have booked my flight!!!!! I will arrive into Abbotsford at 1259 on Monday, April 16th! I will be leaving via the Vancouver Airport at 1130. I will probably be coming from Campbell River into the Vancouver airport to leave.. If I can book that much time at the inn.... At Present the Inn keepers are in Mexico without me. :(

I am planning on staying Monday to friday or Saturday on the mainland. I hope to get a chance to see everyone!!!
I can't wait to see you all!!!!!!

Coooold!!!

This mornign before heading to work I decided to check adn see waht the temp was outside... so I logged on to teh weather channel and... -22 and with the windchill -34!!!!! That is freaking cold!! So, after getting ready I go to roll up the blinds in the bath & bedrooms.... Ice has formed on the inside of my windows!!!!!!!!!

I figure I had better warm Vivian up for a good long while and I have no idea what the roads are like. Vivian almost doesn't start!!! She made a whining sound and then turned over! Holy Crap Batman!! She Might need to get an electric blanket!!!

I should be off to drink my tea before I head to work. I hope that you all have a great day adn oen that is warmer then -17 and -303 somethign with the windchill!

West Coast here I come!!!

Well Folks!! I am glad to announce that I have booked my vacation for April 15-26 and I am heading for the West Coast!!!!! I am just waiting for payday to book the flights. So I will be looking for boarding on those dates.
I figure i will spend a few days in the valley before the island & then back to the valley after staying on the island... 12 days of West coast living!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please open your homes to a misguided, former and still wants to be west coaster from the east coast!!!!

The snow!

For those of you that read the post from yesterday... the snow did fall. The good news... we only got 11 cm instead of 19cm. The bed news is that we are now getting a windchill warning... temps with the wind chill down to -35!!!!!!!! that is bloody cold adn I have yet to buy Vivian a engine warming blanket to keep the old off. The reason I keep putting it off is that I can only plug it in at home and when we are at work I can't use the blanket..... I am thinking about buying an electric car starter.... I am going to research them today and then look at how they work with a manuel transmission..... hmmm

anyways, I don't think I have that must to share today. I am still waiting to hear back from my scheduler about my vacation days I asked for.... I will update you all as soon as I hear from her.....

Winter is here!!

Well I am sad to say that Winter has found the East Coast. We are currently in the middle of the Winter storm warning for the area. already i would say a couple of inches has fallen and they are calling for something like 20 cm of snow!!

The good news is that i don't have to worry about driving in this storm as of yet. Right now I am off until wednesday am so i am hoping that by then the roads will have soem of the mess cleaned up. Well i should get back to sitting and watching the snow fall... stay tunned for pistures of the snow. I am hopign to get some nice pictures of the snow some time tomorrow.

My new place

Well, I haven't posted anything new as of late because welll... nothign has been happening. I am still unpacking.... just the bathroom to go and then to clean up the rest of the place. THe plan today was to get up early and go into town and get stuff but... well we are having a snow storm. Instead I will cook and bake and then look at teh rest of the house and maybe clean.. i can hear the shower calling my name... it needs to be scrubbed. I have some type of clean taht will get rid of shower scum... so i will have to give it a try later today.

I just finished having an espreso with meghan and then i sat and watched the snow fall while sippign my latte'. I must say i have begun to master the art of espresso making..... I think it might have to do with the beautiful machine that is gleaming on my counter!!!!

Well I must be off to take soem totes to the basement and then start the pasta sauce. I need to get soem relaxing in before i head back to work for a stretch of 3 nights.
