Going Well...

I just wanted to let everyone know that things on the floor have been going well. I feel that I am really getting the hang of things in the 2 days and 2 nights I have been there. I must say I think I have found a good place for me.

On a very positive note I was able to lunch with the floors' new Nurse Manager on Saturday. She is a floor nurse that has been hired and she was working on the floor so, we were able to talk and discuss possible job options and openings!! There are some possibles for this summer.

in... I have passed all my courses and I just have this last clinical portion to go!

The end is almost here...

Well, I have been waiting for the final word on all my courses before posting this but, what the hell... I have 7 weeks left!! I don't think I have ever been this excited.

I am just coming off my March break and I start my hospital rotation on Friday (St. Patty's Day). I must say that I am looking forward to it. I will be working on the Maternity floor like I had said in my christmas letter.

So, I have started studying like crazy.... My final, final exams are in June but the amount of...stuff :) that we need to know is unreal. I think that is all I know right now about school. When I have more time to type, I will share my other news with you.

Finally in the Paper

Just to let you all know our curling picture finally made the local paper!! For those of you in the area take a look at Saturday, March 11ths, edition of the Moncton Times and Transcript. As for when we are going to take the trip; that will happen sometime in May!

Starting IV's

Well, i am running about a week behind in my Blogging... I think thats about the right time frame, it takes for me to write letters and mail them.... Anyways, I just wanted to let everyone know... I can start your IV the next time you want one done...just give me a call. I must say thanks to Kelly for letting me practise on the sleeping and awake pets.... I am sure they would be happy to know that I am now "trained" to jab them in the vein with needles.

"Fan" Party

Well, here is another edition of "East Coast Life." The bad news is its still cold here, March in my opinion came in like a lion so I only can hope it will go out like a Lamb!

I must say that not much is happening here, we have been partying and having lots of fun but then after the party comes the colds due to poor immune systems, working in hospitals, and bad eating habits..... that us the students having bad eating habits.
The good news is that March break starts today!! Yippy!! For those of you who have forgotten what march break is its the time where University students rest, relax and do what ever they want. Now, for me that means....no alarm clock and not needing to leave the apartment for anything!! wohooo! Except for maybe milk for tea if I run out.
