Re: Amy's comment

For any of you who read Amy's Comment re: my news I will state that this year the Arctic Hell wasn't that bad and that I have not forgotten the West Coast. I am thinking of a visit maybe this fall....it will depend on the $$ i have rolling in and what I can take off work.
As for when I am back on the West Coast for good.... Well I am planning to be back by 2010... with some stops in other places along the way!! Some of the places might make for great vacation spots... hint, hint ;)

I have a job...kinda

Well to finish up my postings I just wanted to let you know that i have almost a job here in Moncton. What that means is they have hired me but they can't say that I am hired yet... its very strange.... I wont be working on the Maternity floor right away... all the french nursing students took the jobs....... but i know they will be openings by the end of the summer.
For now I am working on 5100 which in english means Geriatric Medicine... or sick old people that need a place to live or who are way to crazy for other floors... right on its 60% part time; which means that i have 60% of full time hours.

How many more days?

For all of you awaiting the final days of my post-secondary education... big words (lol) the time is almost here. I have 3 more days of clincial and then as of Wednesday April 26th at 0730 (NB time) I will be a NURSE!!!! woohoo!! I must say that these last 3 days are going pretty slow but, I can't wait until May. For those of you who don't know what is happening in May... My family is coming to visit!! Yep, only 2 of my family wont be able to make it. So, Cory, Auntie Wendy, Uncle Blair and Sara will be coming; David and Ali were unable to. I think we should have fun we have a lot to see and do in the 7 days they are here. More to come on the vacation when they arrive!!

Crazy Weather

Well Folks!!
Spring is in the air but here on the East Coast that means that snow is still falling and that it still gets bloody cold!! on my last 4 days off the weather has been cold wet and windy with 60km winds or more!! I am looking forward to the summer!!

My News!!

Hey There,

I was just reading through all my different postings and I can't see where I shared my NEWS! With you. Well here it is... I know that in my Christmas letter I was unsure of where I was going to end up in May... BC, the US or what well I have decided.... (drum roll)... Moncton, NB!! That's right folks I am not moving. For those of you who are recovering from the shock and climbing back in their chairs let me say... No, I am not joking; Yes, I still have some of my mind; and No, its not forever.

The reason for choosing to stay was a hard one to make I was unsure of where in BC I wanted to go and moving back with no job, money and 3 cats was scary so I choose comfort and picked Moncton.

I am hoping to start looking for positions for the beginning of 2008.... So another 1.5 years on the East Coast. For those few of you who miss me I do plan to visit... when I don't know...I would like to before the babies get big and you forget about me!!
