MR. Mooche

Well I just wanted to share that mr. Mooche has not been his normal food seeking, fetching self!!!

So after about a week of not being himself he was off to the vet today!! The goodnews is that all his vital signs are normal but that means that we either watch him or do other things... since I have been watching him for a few days I opted for tests..

So $250 later (I miss my sdiscount!!)all his blood work is all good.. I do need to watch him cause he could be heading towards hyperthyroidism... which if you know anything about cats with this disease MR. Mooche looks nothing like one. They are very skinny they look like they are anorexic and have funny fur!!! Now, Mr. Mooche does have funny fur but he is far from anorexic!! he weighed in at 17.4 lbs today!!!! I am thinking that he has lost some weight!!

So he is now back after a 3 hour stay at the doctor and has a small shaved patch of fur on his neck from where they collected his blood. He is currently flaked out on the floor and looking for food... I guess that he is trying to act like everythign is all good so he doesn't have to go back!!
