The Blanket

Since I am now workign nights I have started knitting again. It is an easy project to take back an forth and it gives me something to do to keep me awake at 330 in the morning.... without poking my eye out with the needles.
So the other day I thought... why don't i make this blanket.. so off I went to the store well one LARGE bag of wool later... the knitting guy told me to buy a bit more just in case so i eneded up with 27 balls of yarn.. i am knitting with 4 at a time!!

So I leave with this big bag and then I sit down and start knitting well at this time it is 4 feet wide and just over 3 feet long!! I should be about 5 or or feet long at the end.

I must say it looks pretty darn good!! The only hitch is that it is growing out of all the different totes that I have and its not very portable due to its size!!! so I will have to find another project for my night shifts.
